  • The U.S. and EU have agreed to work toward zero tariffs on non-auto industrial goods, President Trump and European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker announced. They will also hold off on further tariffs and reassess the existing U.S. tariffs on steel and aluminum, as well as the retaliatory tariffs imposed by the EU. The agreement comes after mounting trade tensions between the two sides.

People in Phoenix who order their groceries on Walmart.com will be taken to and from the store by one of Waymo’s autonomous electric vehicles. Customers will also receive a discount on their groceries. The partnership is one of several Waymo is launching, reports The Washington Post.

    GlaxoSmithKline is investing $300 million in consumer genetics company 23andMe to establish a four-year partnership for discovering new medicines with the help of human genetics. The British drugmaker hopes the partnership will also result in faster recruiting of patients for clinical trials. 80% of 23andMe’s customers have agreed to participate in research, according to CNBC.

Meanwhile, approval for the company’s planned innovation hub in China was withdrawn, according to The New York Times.
